Questions people ask first
Who wrote this?
Darin R. Molnar, PhD. He holds BA and MA degrees in anthropology and a doctorate in organizational management with a specialization in leadership, and has spent more than four decades as a business owner, institutional leader, college professor, and hands-on producer.
Is this about getting revenge on my boss?
No. It is not a manual for mocking your boss and it is not a manifesto for passivity. The aim is to help you do good work, keep your credibility, protect your health, and choose your next move deliberately. If your manager improves along the way, that is a bonus rather than the goal.
What if I am the manager?
Then parts of it will be uncomfortable, which is the useful part. Most people do not set out to become the kind of manager others must work around; they arrive there through habit, fear, poor incentives, and weak models. The book is written so that a leader can read it and find something to act on rather than only something to resent.
How long is it?
Seventy-nine pages across five chapters. It is deliberately short. You should be able to read it in an evening and start using it the next morning.
Where do I buy it?
Amazon, in Kindle and paperback. It is also free to read with Kindle Unlimited. There is nothing to buy on this site.
Does the audit send my answers anywhere?
No. It is scored by JavaScript running on your own device, no email address is requested, and nothing is transmitted or stored. If you are taking it on a work computer, understand the limit of that promise: we receive nothing, but your employer may still see which pages you loaded.
Can I quote it?
Brief quotation in reviews and scholarly discussion is fine without asking. For anything longer — a class, a newsletter, an article — just ask. The answer is usually yes.
Are there bulk copies for a team?
Amazon handles the order, but say how many you need and Dr. Molnar will help you think about how to use them. Handing this book to a team without a plan tends to go badly.
